Can the right-angle plug be rotated? If. If you insert the plug shown in the picture into a triple socket, the cable runs towards the centre of the socket.

Plug is not rotatable, cable goes to the centre of the socket with triple sockets. With a plug-switch combination, the cable goes downwards. So if the switch is on top, no problem.
