Can the display of the laptop be expanded by connecting multiple screens (HDMI, VGA) or can it only be duplicated? Happy New Year and many thanks!

Yes, extension is possible without any problems, i.e. simultaneous (extended) display on Notbook display, HDMI display and VGA display possible.

Yes, an extension is possible. I use it exactly like this. But it only works for one screen per adapter. So you can't connect one screen to the HDMI and another to the VGA. But duplication and expansion are possible.
