Can the cable also be used with a samsung Note9 for DeX?

I have this cable for a MacBook Pro 15" TouchBar, it works but the plug is very tight. Compared with an original USB-C cable from Apple (e.g. charging cable), the size of the contact (plug length) is somewhat smaller.
Approx. 1mm shorter, which sometimes makes a wobbly contact.
