Question about Pure Evoke F3

I also own the unit and there are 3 brightness levels in operation. Bright, medium and dim. And the possibility to choose the time how long it takes for the display to dim, after switching off in standby. 10s, 20s, 30s, etc.
But I still feel it is bright in the "dimmed" state. However, that is very subjective.

Have this device.
Bad news: I don't think so, at least I don't know how. Neither when "on" nor in "standby".
Good news: The display has a low brightness when not turned on (in standby), shows the time and date quite discreetly. But I can't decide if this is an acceptable alarm clock, my alarm clock definitely has a brighter display!
