Can several headsets be connected to the base? For example, one base and 4 headsets. But only one headset must be active at a time?

The headsets can be synchronised with any base station. Plug the headset onto the base station and wait approx. 30 seconds, after which the two know each other. This means that each person can work with their personal headset at any base station. However, there is the question of charging the headset batteries. If the headsets are not connected to the base station for a longer period of time, the battery is empty and the headset is not ready for use.
