Can I use this cable to stream my photos, videos and music from my Sony Xperia 1 (usb-c) to my Philips monitor which has Displayport 1.4? I find it easier than ChromeCast or Miracast. Kann ich mit diesem Kabel meine Fotos, Videos und Musik von meinem Sony Xperia 1 (USB-C) auf meinen Philips Monitor mit Displayport 1.4 streamen? Ich finde es einfacher als ChromeCast oder Miracast.
Ah OK, it seems that Sony has added this feature in Xperia 1. So it should work.
According to my tests, this cable works well with computers (tested with a Macbook Pro)
and does not work with Google Pixel smartphones (tested with a Pixel 4)

Hello, no it is not possible. Smartphones do not support DisplayPort, even if they have a USB-C port.
