Can I use this cable to connect a PC with thunderbolt 4 to an iMac, late 2013. I want to use the iMac as an external display. Not sure if it will work

Helpful answer

For me, the connection from iMac (2013) or MacBook Air (Mid 2012) to e.g. MacBook Air (2022) or even ext. SSD does not work.

Thank you all for your answer, really appreciated. The reason I wanted to buy this cable was after I found this link https://support.apple.com/en-us.... I wanted to connect my Lenovo PC windows 11 TB4 to iMac late 2013 with macOS Catalina. Still not sure if I should buy this cable and try it out.

Basically this works with this cable, but in my case the problem was the iMac, despite the correct year of manufacture it still does not work (software on it supposedly already too new)
