Can I use this cable to connect a MacBook Pro 16 to an iMac 27?

According to the supplier's reply this does not work, it is a Displayport to USB-C cable.
As we do not know the exact models of the iMAC and MacBook Pro 16 (there are several versions), I cannot recommend the correct cables.
