Yes, the SEL85F18 is compatible with restrictions with the ILCE-6000, as the SteadyShot is not supported.

The lens should work very well. Except that the a6000 has an APS-C sensor and therefore a much smaller sensor. It will therefore zoom in 1.5x more than a full-frame lens.
