Yes, you can retrofit the printer with the AMS 2 Pro if you buy it later. The AMS 2 Pro is compatible with the P1 series, which includes your printer, and enables multi-material printing and automatic filament feeding. To use the drying function of the AMS 2 Pro on older models such as the P1 series, a firmware update is provided via OTA. If you only want to use the automatic filament feed, you only need the appropriate bus cables and the Filament Buffer/AMS Hub, without an external power supply unit. However, an external power supply unit is required for the drying function, which is available separately. All necessary accessories are available in the AMS 2 Pro upgrade kit.
