Question about G-Tech G-RAID with Thunderbolt 3

Can I buy this product and replace the two HDDs with two 4TB SSDs? I would then like to use the two HDDs as backup hard drives for the G-Tech. Could anyone recommend a good 2-bay HDD enclosure with USB-C?
