Can I also use this external hard drive for my laptop or does it only work with the X-Box? Can it be used as a normal external hard drive?

I have the 8 TB version and it runs normally on my Windows PC without any problems or setup.

You also have to format the hard drive on the Xbox One first if you want to use it for apps and games, so this hard drive also works on a Windows or Mac, you just have to format it the first time via the system (either Windows or MacOs) you are using.

Yes, the hard disk simply needs to be formatted briefly in my opinion (Windows or Mac format).
