Can I also use my digital camera as input with this device as with the Elgato CamLink? LG

Attention: _no_ drivers are needed for the HD60S+. Only for the HD60S! And yes: I also use it as a CamLink "replacement". It works more or less the same way.

Yes, provided that the camera has an HDMI output through which a "clean" image (i.e. without the overlays contained in the viewfinder image) can be output. I use this adapter in exactly this way with a Sony PXW-Z90 video camera and a desktop PC with Windows 10, which works without any problems. Apart from the driver for the Elgato device, no special software is required and this device is then recognised as a camera by the system without further ado.
