Question about Zyxel VPN2S
Can any of the owners give details of the privately MEASURED, REAL throughput of the firewall alone? From WAN to LAN. Zyxel's data, at least the older ones, are rather taken from Grimm's fairy tales. My Zyxel USG 60, for example, has 1000 MBit throughput according to the datasheet. In fact, however, it is only about 500, i.e. 50%! According to the datasheet, the VPN2S should have 1.5 Gbit throughput, although there are only Gbit ports at the front and back. (?) In any case, it's hard to believe with this plastic box. So what's the deal with this device? Thank you.

I currently have 718.72mbps download with gigabit subscription from Swisscom according to the speedtest behind this company wall. If I disable the logging, it's a bit more, I've also had about 820mbps, the test results sometimes fluctuate a bit.
I'm generally very satisfied with it, for a device designed for home users it still has extensive settings. But logically not comparable with a professional solution.

Well, thanks for the input. Not bad for the simple box. I had also noticed that logging reduces the throughput with my Zyxel USG 60, which drops from approx. 500 to 320Mbit with logging, so it seems to have a significant influence in general.
