Question about Brother Ads-2700w
Can an OCR scan be carried out with this scanner without additional software but directly at the touch of a button and saved on a NAS? Or is OCR scanning only possible with client software?
If I am not mistaken, the scanner itself cannot OCR. Probably no one in this price range can do that either. But you can certainly set up a button that sends the scan to a running PC and starts a job there that carries out the OCR recognition and sends it to a corresponding memory.
