Question about GoPro HERO9 Black

I bought it straight away from gopro. But I regret it now, because the small print says that if you cancel the subscription in the same year, the remaining amount of the camera will be charged to your credit card. And the 50 for the annual subscription is already gone. I hope that's not really the case, but it's really mean marketing.
