Are the settings (favourites, coffee size etc.) saved when the power is off for a longer period? The machine is connected to a smart socket which switches off at night, so I don't feel like setting everything up again every morning (especially without coffee beforehand ;) ).

In our case, although it is not connected to a smart socket, it is also sometimes completely switched off for longer periods of time or not connected to the power during holidays (first correctly switched off and then disconnected from the socket)...the settings - whether favourites or customised main settings - remain. Would just make sure that the machine has either already switched itself off or you have already switched it off correctly before the Smart Socket does its work. The machine also only cleans itself correctly if it is "shut down" correctly.
I have been very satisfied for almost 2 years.
