Are horizontal lines normal with this screen? I have greyish horizontal lines, very even and somehow it bothers me. They are also visible in videos. Especially with graphics that have a structure, I'm not sure if they are from the screen or the graphics. They all stretch very evenly across the screen. At first I thought it was pixels, but it shouldn't be at 4K resolution, so now I assume it's a coating or even a setting. Towards the top these lines are fading. Is this normal or do I need to send the screen back? :/

Helpful answer

The screen works perfectly for me. I have not observed the behaviour you describe with my screen. I would therefore send it back.

Thank you very much for your answer. It is not only visible up close, but from a normal distance it is quite noticeable. :(

Up close, these horizontal grey lines are visible. Also at the very top, depends on the viewing angle. It is production related, means all monitors of this model are made in the same way. The monitor should be the same distance from the eyes as the monitor is wide. 60 cm wide = 60 cm from the eyes. If you want to work very close to the monitor, you must test the monitor live on site beforehand to see

if it suits you and your viewing habits. If you want to be absolutely sure, you have to go for an EIZO graphic designer monitor so that you can also view it up close. Eizo CG248-4K (24", 3840 x 2160 Pixels)
