anyone who bought this has an opinion on it, is it as good as it sounds?
I have been using the Solar Manager for one year. The prerequisite for its added value are devices (PV system or inverter, heat pumps, wallbox for electric cars, heating insert boiler, etc.) that have an interface that the Solar Manager supports. The number of devices supported by the Solar Manager is constantly increasing. Its functionality is also being continuously expanded. The reliability is top notch. The app is excellently designed and allows access to the control and optimisation of the self-produced PV electricity from anywhere. The connection of devices works perfectly, support is always available and the costs are relatively low. With the solar manager, we immediately doubled our self-sufficiency. With the subsequent optimisations, we were able to increase it even more. And all of this is automated and without a battery!
not sure what you mean by "as good as it sounds" - but overall I would recommend SolarManager if you have a PV system and large consumers like a heat pump or an e-car. In such scenarios it can optimize and prioritize consumers to increase self-consumption of solar energy. We own SolarManager for half a year and it is also very useful for monitoring energy production and consumption in the home. hth
Purchased but not yet up and running. I'm looking forward to being able to find all the data in one place. If possible I'll pair it with an Echo Show 15 Amazon Echo Show 15 (Amazon Alexa) to make it easier for the whole family to see "electric".
Unfortunately, we do not have any real empirical data on this. We have forwarded the question to our community and hope that a user can provide input.
