Question about Delock HDMI and SCART to
Actually, the adapter is exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately I have a very strong "buzz" in the sound, which is stronger with bright TV pictures and almost not audible at all with dark pictures. Even with a new cable, the sound is no better. Has anyone had the same experience with the adapter? Is there a solution or is the adapter defective?
I also use the adapter to play media on my old DVD / VHS recorder. The problem is also unknown to me.
My adapter works perfectly. I need it to convert/play from my ancient JVC super VHS video recorder. Maybe an earthing problem? Try connecting all earth terminals of all devices and grounding them in one place (loop problem). Maybe it's enough to turn the unearthed 220VAC plugs around, sometimes that works wonders. All the best. Check the wiring anyway.
I have successfully used the same adapter. I have never had this problem before.
But it could also be that the SCART cable is defective --> can be easily tested with another cable.
If that doesn't work, I would send the adapter in for checking.
