First of all, those "80s cards" were good for Age of Empires or Gta 3 or who knows what back then, and of course they didn't eat up so much power. I don't know what kind of sites you're surfing, but it was clear from the beginning that the 3080 would be cheap compared to the 2080 (nothing to do with 950).
