Question about APC Smart-UPS
According to the official specs, the unit has a fan. Does it run constantly or only in battery mode? Is the fan speed dynamic or does it only run at 100%?

Only in battery mode, otherwise very quiet, but clearly audible when on battery.
The fan also runs outside of battery mode when the unit is warm. In my opinion, it runs dynamically.
The whole UPS is generally quiet. I have other devices in the rack that make more noise.
