3. Amewi The Flying Bulls

The EC-135 of the "Flying Bulls" is from the year 2006 and bears the registration OE-XFB. The helicopter has a length of about ten meters and is powered by two Turbomeca turbines with a system output of 2 x 643 HP. Its maximum speed is approximately 290 km/h with a service ceiling of 6,100 m. The EC-135 is certified for up to six people (one pilot, five passengers). Our EC-135 is a licensed super-scale replica in a 1:32 scale with the original livery of the Flying Bulls. The model is true to the original in every detail – even the individual rivets of the cabin, which is made of solid plastic, are represented. This helicopter features LED lighting at the front, bottom, and rear, which not only enhances its stunning appearance and enables flying at dusk but also indicates the current flight status and the voltage of the flight battery: for example, if the LED starts to blink and turns red, the voltage is too low. This way, the pilot immediately knows that it’s better to return for a recharge. A special feature of the battery is that it has a built-in USB charging port, which simply connects to the supplied USB cable. The flight time with a full battery is about 8-10 minutes. Thanks to high-quality electronics, including auto-takeoff and auto-landing, the flight behavior is gentle, and despite the multi-blade rotor head, the helicopter is suitable for beginners. The high-quality 2.4 GHz transmitter fits well in hand and features the option to select different flight phases (from beginner to advanced), ergonomic control sticks, and the ability to switch from Mode 2 (factory setting) to Mode 1. Additionally, the EC-135 offers the possibility to switch to backward flight at the push of a button from a safety height of about nine meters. For sufficient power for such flight maneuvers, the super-scale helicopter is equipped with two high-performance brushless motors (front/rear).

6. Amewi AFX180

With a rotor diameter of 320mm, the AFX180 single rotor is controlled by a 3D / 6G gyro and also features an automatic "hold altitude" mode (Att. Hold). On top of that, this great entry-level helicopter features an auto-launch function that lets the model take off at the push of a button and hover independently at a safe altitude. The pilot can thus relax and concentrate on the essential control function - and no longer needs to worry about the throttle and the tail. So while the 6G system neatly balances the rear, only the pitch (forward/back) and roll (right/left) functions need to be controlled themselves. In 6G mode, the maximum deflection of the servos is also limited, which makes the system act similar to a coaxial helicopter.

When the stick on the transmitter is in the center position, the model automatically stabilizes back around the neutral axis. For faster flights or in light winds, there is also a dual rate function that frees up more servo travel. This makes the model more agile and nimble. Overall made of robust material and equipped with a large LiPo battery 2S 7.4V, 700mAh, long flight times of up to 15 minutes are possible. Quickly recharged within 70-90 minutes via USB cable, the AFX180 single-rotor helicopter can take off again and enjoy the high altitude air to the fullest.

7. Amewi AFX-135 Alpine Air Ambulance

The AAA Alpine Air Ambulance, specialized in rescue services in alpine regions, was founded in 2011 by the Touring Club Switzerland and the Lions Air Group AG. Its customized helicopters are used for emergency rescues, medical evacuations, the transport of medical personnel and equipment, as well as search and rescue operations. Its main purpose is to provide quick and safe medical assistance to individuals in remote or hard-to-reach areas.

This AFX-135 is a licensed scale replica with an authentic paint job. The remote-controlled AAA helicopter features numerous authentic details: even the individual rivets of the cabin, made from solid plastic, are represented. This scale helicopter is equipped with LED lighting at both the front and rear, enhancing its striking appearance. Thanks to high-quality electronics, including auto takeoff and landing, the flight behavior is gentle, and the helicopter is suitable for beginners despite its multi-blade rotor head.

The flight time is up to 12 minutes with the integrated smart battery. The special feature: the battery has a built-in USB charging port that easily connects to the included USB cable. The battery and the model have a voltage monitoring function (LED blinks when the voltage is too low), so the pilot is always aware of when it’s best to return for recharging.

The well-designed, high-quality 2.4GHz transmitter features three different flight modes (from beginner to advanced), aluminum sticks, and the option to switch from Mode 2 (default setting) to Mode 1. The remote control is also adorned with the official AAA logo. This AFX-135 is delivered as an RTF version (Ready-to-Fly).

9. Amewi AFX-105

The AFX-105 is an authentic replica of one of the most famous helicopters, the Bölkow Bo 105. The newly designed 4-blade rotor head is controlled by a precise stabilization system, providing a completely new flying experience thanks to auto start and auto landing features. This makes it possible for beginners to pilot a multi-blade helicopter without extensive prior knowledge. With the press of a button on the handy 2.4 GHz transmitter with metal sticks, the model can effortlessly take off to a certain altitude. It then remains in altitude hold mode, allowing the pilot to focus on the essential functions of the helicopter without worrying about height. The gyro system also controls the tail rotor in the background, keeping the model stable in the air.

For greater agility in flight, the model features 3 speed levels (dual rate), which are equally interesting for beginners and advanced users. Thus, the model is also suitable for outdoor use (in calm conditions) and can achieve high speeds during forward flight. To land, the takeoff/landing button on the transmitter can be pressed again, and the model gently descends to the ground. The motor has a soft start and soft cut feature. This means that during takeoff, the rotor gradually spins up, preventing the model from spinning around its own axis. The same applies during landing; the rotor slows down smoothly, and the motor is automatically shut off.

As an additional safety feature, the helicopter is equipped with a voltage monitoring system that continuously checks the battery during flight. When the minimum voltage is reached, the LED on the helicopter starts to blink, signaling that landing should be attempted as soon as possible. If the pilot does not respond, the system will autonomously land the helicopter to protect the battery.

10. Amewi AFX-PD100 4

The PD100 is a replica of a well-known search and rescue drone used by many organizations. The model impresses not only with its robust construction but also with its detailed appearance. The rotor head is supported by a precise stabilization system, providing the drone with a completely new control experience thanks to auto-takeoff and auto-landing features. With the innovative electronics, even beginners can fly this model without extensive prior knowledge. The PD100 takes off at the push of a button on the handy 2.4 GHz transmitter with metal sticks and hovers automatically to a certain altitude. There, the drone remains in altitude hold mode, allowing the pilot to focus entirely on essential functions without having to monitor the flight altitude simultaneously. The gyro system also controls the tail rotor, keeping the model stable in the air. For more agility in flight, three speed levels are available, which are equally interesting for beginners and advanced users. Thus, the PD100 is also suitable for outdoor use in light winds and achieves high speeds in forward flight. To land, the takeoff/landing button on the transmitter can be pressed again: the model gently descends to the ground. The motor features soft start and soft cut. This means that during takeoff, the rotor gradually spins up, preventing the model from spinning around its own axis. The same applies during landing: the rotor gradually slows down, and the motor is automatically turned off. As an additional safety feature, the PD100 has a voltage monitoring system that continuously checks the battery during flight. When the base voltage is reached, the LED lighting starts to blink, signaling that it is time to land as soon as possible. If the pilot does not respond, the system autonomously takes over the landing to protect the battery. The PD100 is almost ready to use right out of the box.
