The digital tachometer PCE-T236 is particularly suitable for measuring RPM and speeds on rotating machines and systems, such as conveyor belts, motors, and belt drives. Measurement can be performed either non-contact using a reflective mark attached to the rotating part or with one of the supplied attachable mechanical adapters with a measuring tip or measuring wheel. The built-in measuring instrument can be connected to up to four external temperature and humidity modules. The temperature measurement range for the sensors of the built-in measuring instrument is 32.0 - 122.0 °F, and the humidity measurement range is 0.0 - 99.9 % r. H. The power supply is provided via a mains connection of 110 - 220 V AC. The integrated sensor supply can power the connected sensors with 12 or 24 V DC. Once the sensors are connected, they are automatically recognized by the built-in measuring instrument. Communication between the sensor modules and the built-in measuring instrument occurs via an analog 4 - 20 mA signal. If multiple sensors are connected, the average measurement value of all sensors is displayed. Thus, the built-in measuring instrument is used in event halls, restaurants, or public buildings to monitor environmental conditions. The installation of the built-in measuring instrument and the sensor module is done on a wall. If necessary, the built-in measuring instrument can be mounted on a monitor bracket with mounting dimensions of 75 x 75 mm for optimal alignment. The power measurement device measures current and voltage values using the connected current transformers and measuring cables. From this, the active, reactive, and apparent power is determined and transmitted to an end device via Wi-Fi in real-time. The data is stored historically and can then be analyzed in tabular or graphical form. Additionally, it is possible to export the measurement results to an end device. Measurements with the power measurement device are carried out using Rogowski coils or clamp-on current transformers. If there is no internet connection, the data can be recorded in the built-in 32 GB SD card memory as a CSV file for later processing. Even with second-by-second recording, the duration of recording exceeds one year. There is also the option to periodically send the CSV files via email, upload them to a server via FTP, or transfer them to the measurement platform after the measurement is completed. Interaction with the power measurement device primarily occurs via Wi-Fi and web browser or through an app. The power supply and measurement are conducted using magnetic measurement probes or connection terminals. The power measurement device can be connected to any main and sub-distribution as well as to devices and systems without interrupting the power supply. Thanks to its magnetic housing back, the power measurement device can be attached to any metallic surface. Managing the power supply is of utmost priority. Without measuring consumption and capturing instrumental values such as current, voltage, frequency, and power, improving efficiency is hardly possible.
