1. Walimex 650-1300/8-16 DSLR Nikon F

A classic with excellent imaging performance. This lens telephoto zoom lens is quite handy and lightweight despite its length of about 460 mm. The relative aperture of 1:8.0 allows for a bright viewfinder image when used outdoors, even in wildlife photography or detail photography in landscapes. The optics do not have a selectable aperture: the maximum possible opening is always available, and the optics are corrected for this, delivering their highest performance without being diminished by light diffraction at the aperture blades. The attached 360° rotatable tripod mount allows for balanced attachment to a tripod and switching between portrait and landscape orientation. Save time in post-processing. Many lens errors such as distortion, edge softness, or vignetting occur in the outer areas of the image. When using a lens designed for full frame on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not utilized. This way, you achieve maximum quality, eliminating the need for additional post-processing time to correct lens errors.

3. Walimex 500/6.3 DSLR mirror Sony E

Normally, a long focal length of 500 mm is housed in a mount that is also 500 mm long. To achieve a handy, universally applicable, and compact solution, this lens employs a clever trick. The light path is simply folded using two high-precision ground mirrors. This results in a compact design and an aperture that is over 50% larger compared to a lens of the same focal length, as well as a very short minimum focusing distance of just 2 meters. Focusing is done manually. The lens can be used with either automatic exposure or manual exposure settings, depending on the camera. It is technically not possible to incorporate an iris diaphragm into the folded light path. If light reduction is necessary, this can easily be achieved with neutral density filters that screw onto the rear lens. There is a thread M34x0.5 available for this purpose. Practically, the lens does not have a fixed infinity stop. Focusing is done by swinging the focus point from out of focus to sharp and back to out of focus to find it reliably. T2 connection, operating tip: The T2 adapter is screwed onto the lens, and then the lens is locked in place. The side screws on the T2 adapter allow for the lens to be uprighted after loosening, aligning the index upwards. Retightening the screws secures the optics and adapter reliably. Advantages of a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor: Save time in post-processing. Many lens errors such as distortion, edge softness, or vignetting occur at the outer areas of the image. When using a lens designed for full-frame on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not utilized. Thus, you achieve maximum quality, eliminating additional post-processing time for correcting lens errors.

4. Walimex 8/3.1 Fisheye Video APS-C Sony E

Designed for videography and photography. With the walimex pro 8/3.1 Fisheye VCSC, you are equipped for both video and photo without the need for time-consuming camera adjustments. The aperture can be adjusted continuously, minimizing exposure transitions. The aperture ring and focus ring are equipped with a gear, making them optimized for use with follow focus systems. This lens is suitable for APS cameras.

Exceptional creative possibilities. Whether for panorama and landscape photography or unique effect images, the special depth of field and a field of view of 180 degrees allow for limitless creativity. With the walimex pro 8/3.1 Fisheye VCSC, photographers and filmmakers have various design options, especially for spherical panoramas. Straight lines that are not in the center of the image are rendered with a perspective distortion, and the distortion is strongly barrel-shaped. This special type of lens has a particularly short focal length of 8 mm for its image format size, resulting in images with curved shapes. Thus, shots taken with the walimex pro Fish-Eye exhibit their characteristic spherically distorted perspective. Focusing and aperture adjustment are done manually.

Excellent optical construction. All 11 glass lenses of the lens are multi-coated, providing excellent contrast and sharpness as well as a balanced color balance. The use of three ED (extra low dispersion) and two aspherical lenses corrects chromatic aberrations and spherical image errors. The high-quality optics of the lens ensure optimal image results. The high light intensity of 1:3.1 allows for excellent shots even in less favorable lighting conditions.

5. Walimex 12/3.1 Fisheye Video DSLR Nikon F

The 12mm/3.1 is a full-frame fisheye lens that delivers outstanding performance across its entire surface. With a diagonal field of view of approximately 180° on full-frame cameras, it offers an expansive image area. It is perfectly suited for wide shots, interiors, and tight spaces, as well as for reporting in such environments. The lens brings the subject into the right light. With a maximum aperture of T 3.1, it has a large initial light intensity. Due to its short focal length and low reproduction scale, it features an exceptionally large depth of field. For videography, the aperture can be smoothly adjusted from 3.1 to 22, and the focus adjustment is soft and easy to operate, allowing for smooth focus pulling, especially during video recordings. The aperture and focus rings are equipped with a gear ring, optimizing them for use with follow focus systems, which simplifies filming. For better readability, the distance and aperture scales are arranged on the side. The lens is internally focused with a minimum focusing distance of approximately 20 centimeters. The optical design, consisting of 12 lenses in 8 groups, is highly complex and promises excellent imaging performance. The multi-coating of all lenses used in the lens is a standard feature of walimex pro, allowing for higher light transmission, better color reproduction, and increased contrast. Additionally, a glass surface is treated with the NCS Nano Coating System, promising even more brilliant imaging. Save time in post-processing. Many lens errors, such as distortion, edge softness, or vignetting, occur at the outer areas of the image. When using a lens designed for full-frame on an APS-C sensor camera, these areas are not utilized, thus achieving maximum quality. This eliminates the need for additional post-processing time to correct lens errors.

6. Walimex 800/8.0 DSLR Mirror Sony A

Normally, a long focal length of 800 mm also has an overall length of nearly 80 cm to the sensor plane. To achieve a handy, versatile, and compact solution, this lens employs a clever trick. The light path is simply folded using two high-precision ground mirrors. This results in a compact design of only 131 mm in length compared to the mentioned nearly 80 cm. The minimum focusing distance is also reduced to 3.5 meters instead of at least 10 m with a lens-based system.

Focusing is done manually. Depending on the camera, the lens can be used with automatic exposure or manual exposure settings. It is technically not possible to incorporate an iris diaphragm into the folded light path. If light reduction is necessary, this is simply achieved using 2x or 4x neutral density filters, which are screwed in front of the rear lens. There is an M30x0.5 thread available for this purpose.

Practically: The lens does not have a fixed defined infinity stop. Focusing is done by swinging the focus point from out of focus to sharp and back to out of focus at any distance.

T2 connection, operating tip: The T2 adapter is screwed onto the optics, and then the lens is locked in place. The side screws on the T2 adapter allow for adjustment after loosening, enabling the lens to be oriented with the index pointing upwards. Retightening the screws securely holds the optics and adapter in place.

Advantages of a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor: Save time in post-processing. Many lens errors such as distortion, edge softness, or vignetting occur in the outer areas of the image. By using a lens designed for full-frame on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not utilized. This way, you achieve maximum quality.

7. Walimex 14/3.1 Video DSLR Nikon F

This wide angle lens from walimex pro was developed for videography and photography. The aperture can be adjusted continuously from 3.1 to 22 and the focus adjustment is soft and smooth. This allows for smooth tracking of focus when shooting video. The aperture ring and focus ring are equipped with a toothed ring and are thus optimized for use with focus pullers (follow focus systems). For better readability, the distance and aperture scales are located on the side. With the compact 14mm Wide Angle Lens from walimex pro, unique pictures are created. In contrast to telephoto lenses, the wide angle reduces the image scale for the same subject distance, so that imaging of a larger area is possible. The walimex pro Lens is suitable for the whole spectrum of photography and videography, but especially for landscape pictures and indoor shots. The distinct depth impression offers space for creative impressions. With a closest focusing distance of just 28cm, the manually focusable wide-angle lens is particularly suitable for sharp and high-contrast images from a short distance. Thanks to the excellent light intensity of 1:3.1, optimal shots are possible even in unfavorable lighting conditions. The lens has a high-quality construction. The metal housing is very robust and impresses with its noble optics. The glass lenses of the lens are coated and thus cause an excellent contrast and sharpness range as well as a balanced color balance. The particularly high-quality optics of the lens ensure optimal image results. The lens hood prevents stray light from the side and lens reflections. Save time in post-processing. A large number of lens aberrations such as distortion, edge blur or vignetting occur on the outer areas of the image. If you use a lens calculated for full format on a camera with APS-C sensor, these areas are not used. Thus, the maximum quality is obtained. Additional post-processing time to correct lens errors is therefore not required.

8. Walimex 500/6.3 DSLR Mirror Canon R

Normally, a long focal length of 500 mm is housed in a lens of 500 mm length. To achieve a handy, universally applicable, and compact solution, this lens employs a clever trick. The light path is simply "folded" using two high-precision ground mirrors. This results not only in a compact design and over 50% greater aperture compared to a lens of the same focal length but also a very short minimum focusing distance of just 2 meters. Focusing is done manually. The lens can be used with either automatic exposure or manual exposure settings, depending on the camera.

In the folded light path, it is technically impossible to incorporate an iris diaphragm. If light reduction is necessary, this is easily achieved with neutral density filters that can be screwed onto the rear lens. There is a thread M34x0.5 available for this purpose.

Practically: The lens does not have a fixed defined infinity stop. Focusing is done in a "swinging" manner, allowing the sharp point to be accurately found from out of focus to sharp and back to out of focus.

T2 connection, operating tip: The T2 adapter is screwed onto the lens, then the lens is locked in place. The side screws on the T2 adapter allow for "uprighting" the lens after loosening - aligning the index upwards. Retightening the screws securely holds the lens and adapter together.

9. Walimex 500/6.3 DSLR Mirror Samsung NX

Typically, a long focal length of 500 mm is housed in a 500 mm long casing. To achieve a handy, versatile, and compact solution, a trick has been applied in this lens. The light path is folded using two high-precision ground ring mirrors. This results in a compact design and an aperture that is more than 50% larger than that of a lens with the same focal length, as well as a very short minimum focusing distance of just 2 meters. Focusing is done manually. The lens can be used in aperture priority or manual mode, depending on the camera. Technically, it is not possible to insert an aperture blade into the folded light path. If light reduction is required, this can be achieved with gray filters (not included) that screw onto the rear of the lens. There is an M34x0.5 thread for this purpose. The lens does not have a fixed infinity stop. Focusing is done oscillating, securely finding the focus point from out of focus to sharp and back to out of focus.

For the T2 connection, the T2 adapter is screwed onto the optics, and then the lens is locked in place. After loosening the side screws on the T2 adapter, the lens can be aligned straight to position the index upwards. Retightening the screws reliably secures the lens and the adapter.

The advantages of a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor include time savings in post-processing. Many lens errors such as distortions, edge softness, or vignetting occur in the outer areas of the image. Using a lens designed for full-frame on a camera with an APS-C sensor means that these areas are not utilized, resulting in maximum quality. Additional post-processing time for correcting lens errors is therefore not necessary.

10. Walimex 650-1300/8-16 DSLR Sony A

A classic with excellent imaging performance. This lens telephoto zoom lens is quite handy and lightweight despite its length of about 460 mm. The thoughtful design (without a built-in iris diaphragm) allows for the use of 8 lenses in 5 groups, resulting in outstanding, color-accurate, and sharp images. The relative aperture of 1:8.0 enables a bright viewfinder image when used outdoors, making it suitable for wildlife photography or detail shots in landscapes. The lens does not have a selectable aperture: the maximum possible opening is always available, and the lens is corrected for this, delivering its highest performance without being diminished by diffraction at the aperture blades. The initial aperture corresponding to the respective zoom range is engraved on the mount for reference. User advantage: The attached 360° rotatable tripod mount allows for balanced attachment to a tripod and easy switching between portrait and landscape orientation. With a close focusing distance of about 5 m at a setting of 1300 mm, nature photographers can choose exciting subjects. The lens works in shutter priority or manual mode with most cameras. For more details, refer to your camera's manual. T2 connection, operating tip: The T2 adapter is screwed onto the lens, and then the lens is attached to the camera. The side screws on the T2 adapter allow for "uprighting" the lens after loosening—aligning the index for infinity or the depth of field marks upwards. Retightening the screws securely holds the lens and adapter in place. Save time in post-processing. Many lens errors, such as distortion, edge softness, or vignetting, occur in the outer areas of the image. When using a lens designed for full-frame on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not utilized. Thus, you achieve maximum quality, eliminating the need for additional post-processing time to correct lens errors.
