Best Victron Energy products in the Leisure batteries category

On this page you'll find a ranking of the best Victron Energy products in this category. To give you a quick overview, we've already ranked the most important information about the products for you.

1. Victron Energy GEL Deep Cycle Batterie

Gel battery 12V 60Ah. VRLA AGM: planned service life 7-10 years (float). VRLA GEL: planned service life 12 years (float). VRLA GEL2 Volt cells: planned service life 20 years (float). The AGM range has a very low internal resistance. These batteries are therefore particularly suitable for applications with high current discharge, such as inverters, steel rudders and winches.

The range of gel models offers the best deep cycle durability and an overall longer service life. The use of high-purity materials and lead-calcium grids ensures that both AGM and GEL products have a particularly low self-discharge. This prevents them from discharging during extended periods when they are not being charged. Both ranges are supplied with M8 copper cable lug connections. This ensures the best possible connection contact and no battery terminals are required. The batteries fulfil both CE and UL requirements in ABS fireproof containers and are guaranteed by Victron for 2 years worldwide.

2. Victron Energy AGM Batterie

AGM Super Cycle battery 12V 125Ah. A truly innovative battery. The AGM Super Cycle batteries are the result of the latest developments in the field of battery electrochemistry. The paste on the positive plates does not soften so quickly, even if the battery is discharged to 100% several times. In addition, the new additives in the electrolyte reduce sulphation in the event of a deep discharge.

Exceptional performance despite repeated deep discharges. Tests have shown that the Super Cycle battery is still powerful even after at least three hundred 100 % deep discharges. During the tests, the battery was discharged daily to 10.8 V with I = 0.2 C₂₀. It was then left in a discharged state for two hours and then recharged with I = 0.2 C₂₀. Most batteries are damaged if they are left in a discharged state 100 times for two hours, but not the Super Cycle battery.

We recommend using the Super Cycle battery in cases where an occasional discharge to 100 % (deep discharge) or a more frequent discharge to 60-80 % is to be expected. Smaller and lighter. Another advantage of the new chemical composition is that the batteries are smaller and weigh less than our previous deep-cycle AGM batteries. Low internal resistance. The internal resistance is also slightly lower than that of our standard deep-cycle AGM batteries.

3. Victron Energy Lithium SuperPack

12.8V Lithium SuperPack batteries (without Bluetooth). Integrated BMS and safety switch. The SuperPack batteries are extremely easy to install and no additional components are required. The internal switch disconnects the batteries in the event of deep discharge, overcharging or too low or high temperatures. Please note that this battery does not have Bluetooth or a state of charge indicator.

Protected against improper use. A lead-acid battery will fail prematurely due to sulphation in the following cases: if it is used for a long time in an insufficiently charged state (e.g. the battery is rarely or never fully charged) or if it is left in a partially discharged or worse, fully discharged state. A lithium-ion battery does not need to be fully charged. In fact, life is slightly increased if the battery is only partially charged rather than fully charged. This is a significant advantage of lithium-ion batteries compared to lead-acid batteries. The SuperPack batteries interrupt the charging or discharging current if the maximum nominal values are exceeded.

Efficient. In many applications (especially off-grid solar systems), energy efficiency can be crucial. The energy efficiency of a charge cycle (discharge from 100% to 0% and recharge to 100%) of an average lead-acid battery is around 80%. The energy efficiency of a charging cycle of a lithium-ion battery, on the other hand, is 92%. The charging process of a lead-acid battery becomes particularly inefficient when the 80% brand of the state of charge is reached, resulting in an energy efficiency of only 50%. This value is even lower for solar systems, as energy reserves are required for several days (the battery operates at a state of charge between 70% and 100%). A lithium-ion battery, on the other hand, still achieves an energy utilisation rate of 90% even in a flat state of discharge.

Can be connected in parallel.

4. Victron Energy LiFePO4 Battery

6. Victron Energy Deep Cycle Battery

Gel Battery 12V 220Ah

VRLA AGM: planned lifespan 7-10 years (Float)
VRLA Gel: planned lifespan 12 years (Float)
VRLA Gel 2 Volt cells: planned lifespan 20 years
(Float)

The AGM range has a very low internal resistance. Therefore, these batteries are particularly suitable for high current discharge applications such as inverters, steel rudders, and winches.

The range of Gel models offers the best deep cycle durability and an overall longer lifespan. The use of high-purity materials and lead-calcium grids ensures that both AGM and Gel products have an exceptionally low self-discharge rate. This prevents them from discharging during extended periods when they are not charged.
