4. RME Audio Hdspe Madi
The HDSPe MADI is RME's both inexpensive and outstanding PCI Express card with MADI interface. HDSPe MADI is based on the award-winning HDSP MADI card, and represents the new top model of this world-wide successful card line.
The PCI Express card consequently uses all advantages of the MADI format, the professionals' multi-Channel audio interface, offering 64 channels of 24-bit audio at a sample rate of up to 48 kHz, 32 channels at up to 96 kHz and 16 channels at up to 192 kHz. Transmission is done via a single line, either coaxial with BNC plugs or by fiber cable. In both cases more than 100 m cable length can be achieved.
Compared with the HDSP MADI (Standard PCI version), the express card offers some new features: Support of higher sample rates than 96 kHz, more features in TotalMix (phase and internal loopback per channel, +6 dB gain for the hardware outputs), and the direct support of the Time Code Option. HDSPe MADI provides even lower latencies, making the card the perfect partner for live recording and live mixing applications. The analog monitor output is equipped with the low-latency converter technology of the ADI-8 QS, thus guaranteeing stunning SNR and THD values too.
HDSPe MADI is fully compatible to all devices with MADI interface. In combination with the ADI-648 an 8 x ADAT optical PC interface is realized, unbeatable in price and performance. With the ADI-6432 a bidirectional AES/EBU frontend with 64 channels is available.
On a powerful PC/Mac three HDSPe MADI can be used in a combination, providing 192 inputs and 192 outputs on a single workstation simultaneously.

6. RME Audio RME Fireface 802 FS AE
The new model impresses with its elegant dark design, inspired by the successful ADI-2 series. The Fireface 802 FS AE is technically identical to the Fireface 802 FS and offers the same powerful features and functions, including 60 audio channels, high-end microphone preamps, reference-class converters, a complete electronics section, and operation at up to 192 kHz. Active jitter suppression with SteadyClock FS, DC-coupled outputs for all eight analog line outputs, individually switchable reference levels for all inputs and outputs, full stand-alone functionality, the metering and analysis toolbox DigiCheck, as well as identical operation on Windows PC and Mac complete the package. The feature set also includes the optional Class-Compliant mode (full 30-channel I/O at up to 192 kHz) and operation with TotalMix FX for iPad. RME's app for complete control of the Fireface 802 FS AE from the iPad allows full control of the device - entirely without a computer. The alternative CC mode can be easily activated via a recessed button on the back of the interface. Control of TotalMix FX, including the latest Room EQ function, is now also possible - thanks to the USB-A port for direct connection of the optionally available ARC USB or ARC USB (Black Edition).

7. RME Audio Rme Madi-Sfp-Mm
The SFP module expands compatible RME devices with an optical SFP transceiver. Up to 64 audio channels can then be sent to and received from other MADI devices. The module is available in both a multi-mode and a single-mode variant, clearly marked on the module (as MM and SM) and the packaging. Since the light transmission and required cabling differ, multi-mode modules can only be reliably used with other multi-mode MADI devices. The same applies to single-mode, which is less common in MADI systems. The SFP module accepts fiber optic cables with LC (Lucent Connector). Since most MADI devices require SC (Square Connectors), this module comes with an adapter cable and SC-SC coupler. This allows the use of existing MADI cables. SFP module multi-mode max. cable length (OM-1) is 2 km, LC duplex with SC adapter. The SFP module box includes: 1 x SFP module with LC connector, 1 x 2 m fiber optic cable, 1 x SC (female) to SC (female) connector. The SFP module can be used in the following RME devices: RME 12Mic, RME AVB-Tool, RME M-1610 Pro.
