The gold-plated contacts are marked in colour: Grey indicates the TRRS output. The colour of the cable matches that of the red TRS-TRS cable supplied with the VideoMic GO. The black TRS connector must be connected to the VideoMic GO output jack and the gray TRRS connector to the smartphone or tablet.

6. RØDE VC1 extension cable
The VC1 is a 3-meter long stereo extension cable with double shielding and a gold-plated 3.5 mm plug, as well as a gold-plated mini jack socket.
