1. RØDE SC4 TRS to TRRS adapter
The SC4 is a high-quality shielded adapter for connecting a microphone with a 3.5mm output to the TRRS jack of a smartphone or tablet. It is suitable for users who want to connect their RØDE VideoMic to their iPhone and record with the RØDE Rec app (iOS). The gold-plated contacts are color-coded: gray indicates the TRRS output. Although the SC4 was originally designed for an iPhone or iPad, it is also compatible with many Android-based devices. While stereo microphones can be connected to the SC4, the channels are combined into a mono signal for compatibility with the TRRS input.

2. RØDE VXLR Pro
Plug adapter with transformer and voltage converter. A robust all-metal adapter that not only connects VideoMics, HS2, Lavalier GO, and RØDELink LAV to XLR microphone inputs, but also provides a balanced output signal thanks to the built-in transformer. The main advantage of a balanced connection is that it allows for trouble-free use with long XLR cables (up to 100 m) without risking unwanted interference. Ideal for using the VideoMicro, VideoMic Pro, or VideoMic NTG as a wired boom microphone.
Additionally, the VXLR Pro features an integrated voltage converter. This allows models such as VideoMicro, VideoMic GO, HS2, Lavalier GO, and RØDELink LAV, which require 3-5 volts of supply voltage (plugin power), to be operated with phantom power (12 - 48 volts). The 3.5 mm TRS socket has an outer thread to secure microphone connection plugs with a locking nut. This is compatible with RØDE models HS2 and RØDELink LAV. The VXLR Pro comes with a handy mounting clip.
