With the Surface Dial in one hand and the Surface Pen in the other, you can unleash your creativity with easy access to shortcuts, controls, drawing tools, and more. Click and hold the Surface Dial to display a radial menu of tools – making it easier and faster to do what you love. Imagine undoing every single line of a drawing step by step, changing the pencil color or brush size, scrubbing through video content, rotating 3D vectors, or manipulating parameters – all in an instant. Place your Dial directly on the screen (currently only possible on the Surface Studio) and watch as a color picker or ruler magically appears on your digital drawing board. The haptic feedback provides helpful vibrations through the aluminum body to your fingertips, helping you stay in the moment and feel connected to your work. Adjust the volume of your favorite song, scroll through articles on your favorite news sites without touching your keyboard or mouse. Fly through your local city in Windows Maps, zooming in and out as you glide your fingers across the touchscreen. Even the small things feel much more exciting.
