I would buy the bridge again.
I have the Hue Bridge with light bulbs from Ikea (Tradfri) and Google Home in use. The integration was not particularly difficult, but requires that the bulbs are near the Hue Bridge.
The Ikea bulbs can be integrated without the gateway from Ikea, as long as they are from a newer batch (min. batch 1721).

Do you have any of the Tradfri bulbs with colour, are the colours freely selectable via the bridge or as stated with 9 colours?Hello,
I only use Tradfri bulbs with colours. The colours are not as rich as with the Hue bulbs, but at least the colour green can also be selected (which was not possible before with the Tradfri without Hue Bridge).
The colours are freely selectable via the Philips Hue app, but they are not equally rich. Also, the same number of colours cannot be set. As an example: With Hue light bulbs, many different shades of red can be selected. With the Tradfri bulb, there are also some red tones, but not as many.
In the meantime, I have bought two more Hue bulbs and am more satisfied with the colour selection and saturation than before with the Tradfri bulbs.
