Good monitor headphones. Unfortunately lack of quality control
I had 4 of these headphones. The first one was still made in Germany. The second one was made in Ireland. These two were great and worked for 20 years. The latest one is now made in Romania. The quality is still ok, but not the same as the earlier models. The right earpiece has a loose contact at the plug and you have to constantly fiddle with it until it works again. The "leather" of the ear pads has also been changed, this is now more grey instead of black and feels different to the older models. I would rather recommend a Beyerdynamic DT 1770 PRO or a Fostex TH900mk2 as a (closed) studio monitor.
