The purchase is definitely worth it.
I fly almost only Boeings and Avros, so the Yoke makes the flying experience really good.
I fly the A320/321 with a joystick.
Just connect it and the Yoke runs great under win 8.1 with FSX.
You can but don't have to make additional settings except for throttle depending on how many engines you have.
