With the AirPods and the wireless charging case, you experience wireless headphones in a whole new way. Simply take them out of the case, and they are ready to use with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac. With a tap, you set up the AirPods, and they work like magic. They turn on automatically and are always connected. The AirPods even recognize when they are in your ears and pause when you take them out. To adjust the volume, skip a song, make a call, or get directions, just say "Hey Siri" followed by what you want to do. You have the freedom to wear one or both AirPods, and while listening to music or podcasts, you can double-tap to play a track or skip to the next one. Charge your AirPods quickly and easily with the wireless charging case. Just place the case on a Qi-compatible charging mat and let it charge. The LED light on the front of the case indicates that your AirPods are charging. And if you don’t have a charging mat nearby, you can charge them via the Lightning connector. AirPods offer 5 hours of playback and 3 hours of talk time per charge. With their charging case, which provides additional charges for 24 hours of playback, they keep up with everything you do. Need a quick charge? After just 15 minutes in the charging case, you can listen to 3 hours of music or talk for 2 hours. The AirPods are powered by the new Apple H1 chip, which uses optical sensors and accelerometers to detect whether they are in your ear. The H1 chip automatically routes audio signals and activates the microphone, whether you are using one or both AirPods. And when you are on a call or talking to Siri, an additional accelerometer with voice recognition and beamforming microphones reduce outside noise and provide a clearer voice.
