Record, Bounce and Repeat

With the R4, you can record up to four tracks, mix them, and then bounce them to a dedicated "bounce track." This allows you to free up additional tracks to add more layers. You can also "undo" the last bounce to continue mixing your tracks or record new tracks as needed.
