The Mitakon 65mm f/1.4 is a versatile normal focal length lens that is characterised by its high speed of f/1.4 for working in low light conditions. It also offers a high degree of control over the depth of field to separate subjects from the background and achieve selective focus effects.

A carefully developed optical system with 11 elements in 9 groups, including 2 HRI (High Refractive Index) elements and 2 UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) elements, minimises chromatic aberrations and delivers exceptional image quality for the demanding 51.4 MP sensors.

A rounded nine-blade diaphragm ensures a soft, diffuse out-of-focus image (bokeh). The housing of the lens is made of metal to increase its durability.

The built-in retractable lens hood prevents stray light from entering the image section and also saves you from losing the lens hood when you are out and about.
