LED tube as an energy-saving replacement for fluorescent tubes. Easy replacement of fluorescent tubes that operate in lamp housings with starters and conventional ballasts. No modification of the fixture is necessary - however, the included dummy starter must be swapped for the existing starter. Instant start without flickering, even at low temperatures down to -20°C. The brightness in the preferred emission direction is nearly identical to that of fluorescent tubes, unless the fixture is equipped with highly efficient mirror reflectors. Long lifespan even with frequent switching on, saving about 50% energy compared to conventional fluorescent tubes.
