Mit seinen Bräunungsstufen ermöglicht es der Toaster den Nutzer entscheiden zu lassen, wie er sein Toast gerne hätte. Leider werden beim WMF Toaster die Ränder nicht mit getoastet. Jedoch verfügt er über einen integrierten Brötchenaufsatz, der bei Bedarf ohne weiteres aufgeklappt werden kann. Bei der Nutzung eines Schlitzes ist es möglich, dass die Toastscheibe herausspringt.
