The WFE-P smoke extraction unit is designed to remove solder fumes directly at the source. It is suitable for use with one or two soldering stations. The smoke is extracted through the soldering iron, so it is important to use soldering irons that are prepared for extraction. Extraction adapters can be used to modify existing standard soldering irons. The system allows for quick and easy filter changes. A stop-and-go container with a fiber optic detection system enables the smoke extraction unit to switch to standby mode when the soldering iron is not in use (sold separately). Replacement filters are also available.
