The Walimex pro Audio Adapter 101 is a passive 2-channel XLR adapter for camcorders or DSLR cameras with an integrated microphone socket. It allows you to connect a variety of audio devices such as XLR, wireless microphones, external audio mixers, or preamplifiers to your camera via the adapter. With the headphone jack, you have optimal control over the recorded sound. The audio adapter can be easily attached to the camera from below using a 1/4-inch thread.

Features:

  • Dual Trim Control: The dual trim control allows you to correct and adjust the recording levels.
  • Mono/Stereo Switch: Select the output mode. The mono mode is for a mono microphone and can convert mono audio signals into each channel and output a stereo audio signal. The stereo mode is for two-channel recordings and provides two separate audio channels.
  • LINE/Mic Switch: Mic level is for microphones or wireless systems. The LINE level is for audio devices with a LINE output. The signal is attenuated by 40dB.
  • GND1/GND2 Ground Switch: Eliminates interference noises such as humming and buzzing. GND1 separates the output signal from the input signal, thus preventing noise from the input signal. GND2 controls the output signal to the input signal.
