3-Phase Power Measurement AC 690 V Rogowski Coils
The 3-phase power measurement module 750-495 enables the measurement of electrical data in a three-phase supply network. Voltage is measured via the network connection at terminals L1, L2, L3, and N. The current of the three phases is supplied through current transformers, or in the case of the 750-495/000-002, through Rogowski coils at terminals I1, I2, I3, and IN (each with two terminals +,-).
The preprocessing of the 3-phase power measurement module provides all measurement values such as reactive/apparent/active power, energy consumption, power factor, phase angle, frequency, as well as over/under voltage and over/under current directly in the process image, without requiring high computational power on the controller. These extensive measurement values, along with harmonic analysis up to the 41st harmonic, allow for a comprehensive network analysis via the fieldbus. Based on the provided measurement values, the plant operator can optimize the supply of a drive or machine and protect the system from damage or failures. The additional measurement of current in the neutral conductor can help detect or prevent insulation faults. The 4-quadrant display provides information about the type of load (inductive, capacitive) and whether it is a consumer or producer of energy.
