Product details

The AS-I master terminal 75x-655 is used to connect AS-Interface systems to a higher-level fieldbus. It acts as a master for the AS-Interface and as a slave for the fieldbus. The AS-I master terminal 75x-655 is an M4 master according to the AS-Interface specification V3.0.

This means: Up to 62 AS-Interface slaves can be connected per AS-I strand, the transmission of analog values is integrated into the master, and it supports all slave profiles according to V3.0, as well as combined transaction types 1 to 5 and the acyclic write and read services. The AS-I functions are provided both cyclically and acyclically via the fieldbus.

In cyclic data exchange, up to 32 bytes of I/O data for the binary data of an AS-I strand can be transmitted, adjustable as needed. Free areas of the cyclic process image can be filled with analog values. Additionally, analog values and all other commands and data from the new AS-I specification can be transmitted in a management channel over the fieldbus.

Diagnostic functions that go far beyond the AS-I specifications allow for easy localization of sporadically occurring configuration errors and sources of interference in AS-I communication. An auto-installation mode enables the setup of an AS-Interface network by sequentially installing slaves without the need for an addressing tool.

LEDs indicate operational readiness and uninterrupted terminal bus communication, as well as the status of signal transmission.
