8-channel digital input, DC 24 V, 3 ms, 2-wire connection. The digital input module features 8 channels in a compact design of only 12 mm width, utilizing 2-wire connection technology. It captures binary control signals from the field, such as those from sensors, transducers, switches, or proximity switches. The module is equipped with Push-in CAGE CLAMP connections, allowing for direct insertion of solid conductors. Each input channel is preceded by an RC filter for noise suppression with a time constant of 3.0 ms. The signal status of each channel is indicated by a green status LED. The field and system levels are galvanically isolated from each other. A 2.5 mm blade actuation tool is required to open the Push-in CAGE CLAMP connections.

The device is suitable for use in harsh environmental conditions: extended temperature range, higher voltage withstand capability, and EMC resistance, as well as increased vibration and shock resistance.
