8-channel digital input NAMUR intrinsically safe. The digital input module captures binary signals from sensors used in the explosion-hazardous areas of Zone 0+1 and allows for channel-specific short circuit and wire break diagnostics.

NAMUR sensors, optocouplers, mechanical contacts, or other actuating elements can be connected in an intrinsically safe manner. The process image allows for the specification of the sensor type (normally open or normally closed) and the disabling of diagnostics (e.g., for contact monitoring, to suppress LED diagnostics).

The installation of the WAGO I/O System 750/753 must take place either in Zone 2 or in a non-explosion-hazardous area.

The power supply for the sensor is provided by a short-circuit-proof 8.2V power source.

Indicators: Green LED (Signal state On). Red LED (Short circuit). Red LED, blinking (Wire break).

Field and system levels are galvanically isolated.
