Product details
Intrinsically safe 4-channel digital input DC 24 V PROFIsafe V 2.0 iParDas is an intrinsically safe PROFIsafe input module 750-663/000-003 designed for functional safety, with risk reductions up to SIL 3, Cat. 4, PL e. It is specifically intended for the safe detection of potential-free, contact-based emergency stop switches, safety door switches, mode selection switches, as well as safe sensors located in explosive atmospheres of zones 0, 1, and 2. The safe input module itself must be installed in zone 2. The input module features 4 pulse-sensitive inputs (I1 I4) supplied by 2 differently clocked, short-circuit-proof outputs (T1 T2). This allows for continuous monitoring of the inputs for cross short circuits and external supply. These and other safety-relevant functions, such as operating modes or the disabling of test pulses, discrepancy times, or filter times, can be parameterized via WAGO-I/O-CHECK. The parameterization tool supports the calling interface TCI (Tool Calling Interface) CC2 or CC3. Depending on the settings, parameters can be automatically downloaded from the controller during module replacement via a PROFIsafe-compliant iPar server. The module supports PROFIsafe protocols V1 and V2 (PROFIBUS, PROFINET). The arrangement of the individual modules is flexible within the respective Ex segment of the fieldbus node.
