DALI/DSI Master Terminal
The manufacturer-independent DALI standard (IEC 60929) aims to ensure the interoperability of electronic ballasts (EBs) in the lighting sector. This new standard replaces the analog 1V to 10V dimming interface.
The DALI/DSI Master for the WAGO I/O SYSTEM 750 is a 12 mm wide bus terminal that is compatible with all controllers in the 750 series.
A DALI Master can control one line with up to 64 slaves. Each slave can be assigned to 16 separate groups and 16 separate scenes.
The WAGO I/O SYSTEM 750 allows combinations of DALI controls with other trades. Multiple DALI Masters can be connected to a fieldbus node. The maximum number of terminals in a controller depends on the memory requirements of the application.
The programming software WAGO-I/O-PRO 32 is used for programming the fieldbus nodes. WAGO supports the easy creation of applications with pre-programmed function blocks for DALI.
The DC/DC converter 288-895 is required to power the DALI Masters. The DC/DC converter provides up to 400 mA and can supply 3 DALI lines with a maximum of 130 mA each.
DSI is a manufacturer-specific interface developed by TRIDONIC ATCO. Similar to DALI, the EBs are controlled digitally. However, unlike DALI, the DSI slaves cannot be individually addressed and do not provide status feedback to the master. The maximum number of slaves for the module is limited to 100 participants per line. The DC/DC converter 288-895 is also used for powering, as with DALI.
