MPP solar controller for high-quality motorhomes, caravans, and boats. Suitable for solar modules with: up to 250 Wp module power, max. 15 A module current, max. 50 V module voltage. Charging options: 1 supply battery and 1 starter battery. Votronic solar controllers from the "MPP" (Maximum Power Point) series with "IU1oU2" charging characteristic are connected as a link between the solar panel(s) and battery(ies). With MPP technology, the controller automatically determines the maximum power output (MPP) of the solar modules several times per second. It then converts the voltage surplus of the solar module into a higher charging current for the battery (achieved through high-frequency switching regulator technology with high efficiency). This increase in charging current results in shorter charging times and the best possible performance utilization of the solar system. MPP solar controllers operate fully automatically, are maintenance-free, and offer the following features: MPP charging current increase compared to conventional controllers through the use of state-of-the-art controller technology (microprocessor) by 10% to 30% (efficiency > 95%). The performance boost is particularly noticeable during the cooler seasons and, for example, in high fog conditions, lower and diffuse lighting (wintering). Switchable charging characteristics for optimal charging of gel/dryfit, AGM/fleece, or acid/liquid as well as LiFePO4 batteries. The charging voltage is free from spikes and regulated to prevent overcharging of the batteries. Two battery charging outputs.
