The linear regulated laboratory power supply provides distortion-free voltage across all load ranges and additionally features USB outputs for development, quality assurance, and charging processes. It is suitable for all laboratory applications where switch-mode power supplies reach their physical limits. The device is robust, short-circuit proof, overvoltage protected, and includes a temperature shutdown feature.

USB Test and Development Socket: With the VOLTCRAFT VLP-1602 USB, a connected USB device can be stressed. More and more devices with USB host connections are being developed. Devices to be tested should be able to handle USB ports that do not always comply with USB specifications. The VLP-1602 USB has this test and development socket built-in.

USB Current Limiter: An adjustable current limiter of the USB test socket simulates a USB connection that provides less than 500 mA. This allows for testing USB sticks to see if they can operate with lower power.

USB Under and Overvoltage: The USB voltage at the test socket can be continuously adjusted from 3.9 V to 6.2 V. At 5.1 V, the potentiometer clicks into place. For safety, the overvoltage mode must be activated separately. Undervoltage can be set at any time.

Precise Laboratory Voltage Adjustment: The 10-step potentiometer facilitates the exact setting of the output voltage from 0 - 60 V.

Silent Cooling: Unlike switch-mode power supplies, linear regulated power supplies must be properly cooled. The VLP-1602 USB features oversized passive heat sinks. Fans are not necessary, and there is sufficient thermal reserve to fully load the laboratory power supply.

QuickCharge 2.0 Charging Socket: In addition to the USB test and development socket, another USB charging socket is built-in. Mobile devices or laboratory devices with USB power can be easily supplied in everyday laboratory use. Special feature: OVP.
