Voltcraft VC831 Digital Multimeter

Extensive features and safe to use. The Voltcraft VC831 Digital Multimeter is designed for measurement categories CAT III 1000 V/CAT IV 600 V and meets a high safety standard for all measurements with its 1000 V high-performance fuses. In addition to capacitance, resistance, and frequency measurements, it can measure AC/DC voltage and AC/DC current up to 10 A. The VC831 also includes an acoustic continuity tester and allows for diode testing. Thanks to True RMS, both pure sine waves and more complex non-sinusoidal signals can be measured. For low-impedance DC and AC voltage measurements, the LoZ measurement function is available, and the VC831 is equipped with a duty cycle function to capture the duty cycle.

Practical additional functions. To obtain accurate readings in hard-to-reach measurement situations, the Voltcraft multimeter features a hold function that freezes the measurement value. Peak and minimum values can be recorded with the Min/Max function, and the REL button allows the multimeter to be set to a reference value for relative measurements. For all measurements, auto-range supports the intuitive handling of the VC831 by automatically selecting the display range.

Clear and robust. To ensure the device is well protected in demanding environments and fits perfectly in the hand, the robust housing is equipped with a non-slip soft rubber cover. Evaluating measurement results is made easier by the clear display with 6000 counts. But it’s not just the backlit display that provides clarity: the VC831 can also be used as a flashlight to keep everything in view, even in poorly lit work environments.
