In this model, the protective caps on the measuring tips can no longer be lost, as it features a sliding mechanism that takes over the protective cap function. The exposed measuring tip is well-suited for making contact with already wired terminal blocks. Additionally, extensions such as crocodile clips with a 2 mm socket can be directly attached. The measurement category for the exposed 2 mm tip corresponds to CAT II. For measurements in category CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V, the protection is simply pushed forward and locked into place using the sliding mechanism.
